Family Trip to Sri Lanka

Day 01 – Sigiriya

Arrival in Colombo and transfer to Sigiriya (approximately 4 hours drive)

Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and climb to the top for stunning views of the surrounding area.

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with intricate cave paintings and Buddha statues.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 02 – Sigiriya

Early morning Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park to spot wildlife and elephants.

Visit Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient ruins and historical monuments.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 03 – Kandy

Visit tea plantation Sri Lanka
Transfer to Kandy (approximately 3 hours drive)

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist site that houses a tooth of the Buddha.

Walk around Kandy Lake and explore the city’s markets and shops.

Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 04 Ella

Take a scenic train ride from Kandy to Hatton or Ella, passing through lush tea plantations and beautiful landscapes.

Visit a tea factory to learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea.

Overnight stay in Hatton or Ella.

Day 05 Ella

Visit the Nine Arch Bridge, a picturesque railway bridge with stunning views of the surrounding hills.

Hike to Little Adam’s Peak or Ella Rock for breathtaking views of the countryside.

Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 06, 07 Beach destination

Transfer to a beach destination (approximately 4-5 hours drive)

Visit Mirissa, Unawatuna or any other beach destinations in the south coast of Sri Lanka.

Enjoy the pristine beaches, relax, and soak up the sun.

Spend the day at leisure, exploring the beach town or taking part in water activities like surfing, snorkelling or whale watching.

Overnight stay in the beach destination.

Day 08 – Airport Drop
End of the tour

Transfer to the airport in Colombo for your flight back home
